Restaurant Cafe Waldblick in Roth

We had picked up 3 dishes at lunchtime today. Unfortunately, we were told that the voucher we had could not be booked because we should have given it up when ordering. I don't know that from any other shop, in my eyes a voucher is the cash substitute for the exhibiting shop ... The service could have simply canceled the invoice, rewritten it and offset it with a voucher. Anyway. The food was unfortunately not to be recommended. The rump steak ordered tasted ok, unfortunately the herb quark was missing and it was salty instead of the baked potatoes described. The medium cooking point has been reached. The Schäufele was over-salted and with a gingerbread sauce? Unfortunately, I don't know that. Unfortunately, the meat was difficult to detach from the bone. The dumplings on the side were tasteless and rubbery. The carp fillet was refined with chilli or something else spicy, maybe that should give that certain something, but not everyone likes it. All in all, unfortunately, not to be recommended with a clear conscience.

Due to the renewed lockdown, on the recommendation of a neighbor, I have now picked up food umpteen times and had it brought to my home. No matter what I chose, it was always freshly prepared and delicious. The food selection is really large and there is something for everyone. I think the price-performance ratio is okay. If 15 main dishes are picked up, there is a 10 euro voucher. :) The staff were always very friendly. You like to go there more often.

We wanted to enjoy a fine evening today before the gastro had to close again. Today we were spoiled again with super delicious food and super nice service. It's a shame that you have to be the scapegoats again ... stay strong and hold on ...

Bad value for money. The liver dumpling soup was comparable to a ready-made meal and therefore had hardly any taste. In addition, salads were very dry and just as tasteless (for the price one would have hoped for more.) The apple strudel can, however, be recommended. The staff was also very friendly. A total of 2.5 stars.

We celebrated our wedding here in October 2019 with 75 guests (many children). We were very satisfied, very nice staff, food and drinks were great. All wishes were fulfilled. We clarified everything with the boss, we were offered many options, but nothing was imposed. Great cooperation with the staff and the service manager. Many Thanks!

Delicious food + friendly service = completely satisfied

My reviews refers to the adjoining room, which you can probably rent and is spatially separated from the rest: The portions are very generous, good taste and therefore the price / performance ratio pretty good. The service was friendly and lightning fast Unfortunately, there is a problem especially for older people, that the toilets are in the basement and there is no elevator. In this case you have to get the key for the accessible toilet.
